Plans for the state of the art cinema being proposed for the entrance to South Quay are unveiled this week.
Foundry cinema will be located at the entrance to the Quay. It will feature either a two screen or a 3 screen state of the art cinema and will create a lively entrance to the quay at anytime of the night and day.
The name of the cinema comes from one of the three names the quay was known as: Harvey's Wharf, South Quay and Foundry Quay.
The logo was created by local design studio Whiteroom Design.
The choice of operator has not yet been decided but owners ING financially supported the Hayle Pioneerium's Screen Machine event in the town in August and ING is keen to assess the possibility of the cinema being operated as a ground breaking social enterprise.
