ING is to create extra Free car parking on Harbour Office land close to the skate park in Copperhouse next summer to relieve car parking problems in the area.
Boulders will be removed to allow cars to park on the site opposite the skate park at no charge.
It is proposed that the park will operate between March and November. However overnight parking will not be allowed.
Commenting on the proposals Town Councillor Dick Horwell said, "Its very good news – I brought the car parking problem to the attention of ING and they were very keen to try and help."
