The ING scheme for South Quay means the practice will be involved in their first food store design.

FCBStudios Architect Matt Williams from Penzance said, "ING wanted to create a sculptural design which would hide the function of the building".

"The best buildings emerge from a clear concept, a strength of design that then pervades the detail", he added.

"ING appointed us to make a design statement on South Quay that would create interest – a landmark building for Hayle."

"This is what we are known for", he said

Working alongside Matt is Studio Leader Mike Keys a partner at FCB who led the Accordia team, which won the Stirling Prize in 2008.
